There is a formula you can use to calculate the bend deductions needed when bending rebar. Scott Hartman, Subject Matter Expert at KRB shows you the formula that works for any bar diameter and pin size and any angle. WATCH OUR VIDEO to find out how to do it yourself . It's just another way KRB is looking to support its customers with relevant content on rebar bending, rebar cutting and rebar material handling. The Formula is:

(BAR DIAMETER x2) + ( BEND PIN DIAMETER / 2)

Rebar table benders pull the bar through as they make their bends. So if you want a 12" long leg on a shape, you actually have to calculate the bend deduction. WATCH OUR VIDEO to learn the calculation for yourself. Bookmark it to save for your operators to use in the future.
